Hyaluronic acid

Hyaluronic acid is injected into the joints in order to protect defective or impaired areas of the articular cartilage and to reduce inflammation (anti-inflammatory action).

Hyaluronic acid is an important component of articular cartilage and joint fluid.

In treatment, we use hyaluronic acids made by help of biotechnology in the laboratory and are not of animal origin that have a longer action: Suplasyn 1-Shot and ViscoPlus Matrix.

Hyaluronic acid can be used as a stand-alone treatment and is often used as a completion of platelet-rich and / or stem cell-rich plasma therapy.
